About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Adult Safeguarding Specialist to join our team at Oxfordshire County Council. As a key member of our social care team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable adults. The successful candidate will have a professional Social Work qualification, experience in adult safeguarding, and strong communication skills for difficult conversations.

Our ideal candidate will be able to undertake safeguarding enquiries, ensuring Making Safeguarding Personal (MSP) and Safeguarding Principles are always maintained. They will also possess sound decision-making abilities within a risk enablement framework and excellent organisational skills in a fast-paced environment.

The salary for this exciting opportunity is £37,053 - £39,513 per annum, with up to 33 days' holiday per annum plus bank holidays. Additionally, we offer a local Government pension scheme (up to 19.9% employer contribution), relocation package up to £8,000 (conditions apply), and ongoing professional support, supervision, and CPD opportunities.
