Job Title: Engineering Trainer

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Trainer to join our MTC Training Team in Coventry. As an Engineering Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical bias training to satisfy Awarding Body requirements and Apprenticeship Standard Duties/KSBs.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to develop and deliver innovative teaching and learning experiences in a variety of practical and theoretical skills within the current apprenticeship trailblazer standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver effective electrical bias training to learners at level 2, 3, and HNC, with a focus on developing independent learners and enabling apprentice progression towards successful completion of both the level 3 apprenticeship & HNC programmes.
  • Manage all physical learning resources and teaching spaces required to ensure the training and assessment of learners is achieved within the guided learning hours.
  • Support the delivery of topics which you have knowledge or experience in to support the smooth delivery of learning to people accessing MTC Training provision.
Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate who is/has:

  • Industry-related qualifications such as L3 Apprenticeship, HNC, HND, or Degree.
  • Functional Skills Level 2 / GCSE's in Maths and English grade C or above.

Desirable qualifications include CAVA or equivalent assessor qualifications, Recognised Training/Teaching Qualification, and Internal Quality Assurance qualifications.
