Job Title: Engineering Trainer

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Trainer to join our team at the Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC). As an Engineering Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical bias training to satisfy Awarding Body requirements and Apprenticeship Standard Duties/KSBs.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading research and development organisation, bridging the gap between academia and manufacturing. As an Engineering Trainer, you will be part of a team that works with some of the most advanced manufacturing equipment in the world, helping manufacturers develop new and innovative processes and technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality electrical bias training to satisfy Awarding Body requirements and Apprenticeship Standard Duties/KSBs.
  • Support the delivery of topics which you have knowledge or experience in to support the smooth delivery of learning to people accessing MTC Training provision.
  • Develop softer skills which are embedded within apprenticeships, including providing regular constructive feedback to learners and recording the impact of their own learning on a regular basis.
  • Manage all physical learning resources and teaching spaces required to ensure the training and assessment of learners is achieved within the guided learning hours.
Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate who is/has:

  • Industry-related qualifications such as L3 Apprenticeship, HNC, HND or Degree.
  • Functional Skills Level 2 / GCSE's in Maths and English grade C or above.

Desirable qualifications include CAVA or equivalent assessor qualifications, Recognised Training/Teaching Qualification, and Internal Quality Assurance qualifications.
