Senior Practitioner Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Practitioner Psychologist to join our team at Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust. As a Band 8A Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychological assessment, formulation, and intervention services to clients with complex mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities
Undertake psychological assessment and formulation of clients with complex mental health needs
Deliver brief interventions and provide psychological advice and consultation to professionals and non-professionals
Teach and train within our local team, service, and local universities
Facilitate risk huddles with the wider MDT
Requirements
Post-qualification experience of specialist psychological assessment and treatment of clients with complex difficulties across adult secondary or tertiary care settings
Experience of teaching, training, and/or supervision
Experience of working therapeutically with 'difficult to reach' clients with complex mental health and behavioural needs
