Job Opportunity at Ventro - Fire Compliance

We are seeking a skilled Fire Surveyor to join our team at Ventro Ltd. As a surveyor, you will work across various sites, completing fire compliance surveys and ensuring buildings meet relevant safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough surveys of existing buildings to identify defects and propose remedial actions
  • Complete surveys within set timescales and accurately record defects
  • Collaborate with the Healthcheck Manager and Operations Support Team to ensure effective communication and reporting
  • Provide technical support and utilise knowledge of buildings to assist the Project Manager

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of current fire safety regulations and technical competence
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good IT skills, including proficiency in MS Excel and Word
  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings and analyse problems to identify solutions
  • Driving licence and ideally hold FDIS

Personal Qualities:

  • Presentable appearance and ability to work effectively in a remote environment
  • Effective communicator and flexible approach to working hours
  • Prepared to travel long distances and focused on continuous learning
