Ventro Ltd is seeking a skilled Fire Surveyor to join our team. As a Fire Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of our clients' properties by conducting thorough fire compliance surveys.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct fire compliance surveys to identify potential fire hazards and provide recommendations for remedial action.
- Work closely with our Healthcheck Manager and Operations Support Team to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Accurately assess and record defects, providing clear remedial notes for our sales team.
- Carry out health check inspections, asset labelling, and write up reports as required.
- Survey installations and provide technical support with regards to properties.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of current fire safety regulations and technical competence.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and good IT skills, including proficiency in MS Excel and Word.
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings and analyse problems to identify solutions.
- Driving licence and ideally hold FDIS.
Personal Qualities:
- Presentable appearance and ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
- Effective communicator and prepared to travel long distances.
- Flexible approach to working hours and focused on continuous learning.
