Public Programmes and Digital Content Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to provide administrative, practical, and financial support to two fast-paced teams within the Ashmolean Audiences & Content Directorate.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Informal Learning & Public Programmes (IL&PP) team, responsible for developing programmes for families, young people, and adults in the Museum, online, and in the wider community. The Interpretation & Digital Content (I&DC) team develops and delivers innovative and compelling digital content and interpretation through an audience-centred approach.
This is a permanent, full-time position, working 36.5 hours per week. Flexibility is required to cover weekend and evening activities as needed to support the teams. The role involves some lifting and carrying, with all necessary health and safety training provided.
This position is subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS check result.
About YouYou will be key in providing an effective and efficient administrative service, acting as a first point of contact, interpreting strategic guidelines, handling enquiries, raising purchase order requests, and supporting the practical setup for events.
You will need to have experience of managing administrative processes, working with the public and external contributors, and working as part of a team. You will also have experience of using your initiative and working independently to solve problems.
