About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and empathetic Eye Care Specialist to join our team as a Diabetic Retinopathy Screener. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to make a difference in the lives of our patients while working in a pressured environment.
Responsibilities
- To run local clinics for our patients and photograph their eyes to assess for diabetic retinopathy
- To provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with patients
- To work under pressure and prioritize tasks efficiently
Requirements
- Customer focused with brilliant interpersonal skills
- Willingsness to learn and obtain necessary qualification
- Organized and able to prioritize tasks
- Good problem-solving skills
- Able to work under pressure
- Previous experience working with the public is ideal
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs including grades A-C in English, Maths, and a Science subject or equivalent
- A full driving licence and your own transport
