Finance Assistant/Purchase Ledger Specialist

**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a highly skilled finance professional to support our Finance Manager in various aspects of daily ledger processing.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining purchase ledgers, performing bank reconciliations, processing employee expenses, and posting customer payments.
To excel in this role, you should have previous experience in a similar position and familiarity with SAP is an advantage.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date purchase ledgers for two companies
- Conduct thorough bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy
- Process employee expenses efficiently and accurately
- Post and allocate customer payments in a timely manner
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as required by the Finance Manager
**Requirements:**
- Previous experience in a similar accounting or finance role
- Familiarity with SAP or similar accounting software is an advantage
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines
- Effective communication skills to build strong internal and external relationships
**Benefits:**
This role offers a competitive salary range of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a hybrid working arrangement (3 days office/2 WFH). Additionally, you will enjoy 26 days holiday plus bank holidays and additional employee benefits.
