About the Position

This position involves providing specialist care and nursing for babies, children, and young people with life-limiting conditions. You will work in various settings, including homes, communities, and the hospice, ensuring high-quality patient care and advocating for children and their families.

Responsibilities and Requirements

  • Provide patient care in accordance with established standards and best practices
  • Collaborate with families to plan and review care
  • Act as an advocate for children and their families
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Participate in governance activities and deliver training

Professional Qualifications and Experience

">

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Registration as a Sick Children’s Nurse or Registered Nurse (Child Branch)
  • Relevant post-qualification experience at Band 5 level
  • Experience in nursing children with life-limiting conditions
  • Excellent clinical and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
