The Vacancy

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with us and contribute to our ongoing success. As a Residential Childcare Worker, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day care to our children and young people, building positive relationships with them, and meeting their various needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safeguarding and promotion of welfare of children and young people.
  • Working in accordance with children's and young people's care plans and risk assessments and contributing to their review.
  • Forming effective relationships with children and young people, their families (if appropriate), and external agencies.

The estimated annual salary for this role is around £28,000, based on national averages and location.

Essential Qualifications and Experience
  • L3 Diploma in Children and Young People Workforce (desirable) or relevant degree e.g., in Social Work.
  • Experience in a children's home setting (highly desirable), but not necessary.
  • Excellent IT skills, including report writing.
