About the Role

SCR is seeking a highly experienced and quality-focused Senior Care Manager to lead our residential home in Cheshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to make a real difference in the lives of older people.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy, with a proven track record in delivering high-quality person-centered care. They will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring compliance with CQC regulations and health and social care legislation.

The Senior Care Manager will be offered a competitive salary of £40,000, commensurate with experience. In addition to a generous salary, they will also receive a comprehensive benefits package, including professional development opportunities and a supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership and management of staff to deliver high-quality care
  • Ensuring compliance with CQC regulations and health and social care legislation
  • Developing and implementing care plans that meet the needs of residents
  • Fostering strong relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders

Requirements

  • QCF Level 5 Leadership and Management/Registered Managers Award/NVQ Level 4 Health and Social Care (Preferred)
  • Prior experience as Registered Manager or Deputy of older people or dementia care homes
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent knowledge of CQC regulations, health and social care legislation and regulatory requirements
