Key Responsibilities- Support adults with learning disabilities accessing acute hospital services, ensuring a high-quality, holistic approach to healthcare and support.
- Work autonomously and as part of a wider team to deliver projects reducing health inequalities and improving health outcomes.
- Develop nursing skills within an established team, enhancing autonomous practice and engaging with various agencies.
- Contribute to the development of the Trust's learning disability work plan, ensuring alignment with local and national health initiatives.
- Current registration with the NMC.
- Formal post-registration learning and clinical experience at Band 5 or equivalent.
- Working knowledge of clinical risk assessment, equality and diversity, and resource management.
- Understanding of professional and current issues in learning disabilities nursing in acute areas.
