We are seeking an experienced and skilled Physiotherapy Assistant Practitioner to join our team at Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing support to our physiotherapy clinicians in the assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of patients within the hospital setting.

The successful candidate will have prior experience as a Band 3 in healthcare or equivalent experience from the leisure or social care sector. They will also possess a basic understanding of proper and safe use of therapy equipment and standard keyboard skills.

Key responsibilities will include working alongside experienced physiotherapy clinicians to provide rehabilitation and other interventions to facilitate safe discharge. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and be responsible for their own caseload, including gathering information about home circumstances, completing specific functional assessments, ordering equipment if needed, providing rehabilitation, and planning discharges.
