About the Role

As a Child Development Facilitator at We Manage Jobs (WMJobs), you will work with vulnerable children and their families, providing support and guidance to promote positive relationships and outcomes.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of child development and the effects of stress and trauma on child development. They must also be able to effectively communicate with children, their families, and carers.

This role offers a competitive salary of £28,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience. As a Child Development Facilitator, you will play a key role in supporting families to develop healthy relationships and promoting positive child development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To facilitate therapeutic family time between children and their parents or other family members
  • To coordinate arrangements for family time for children and their parents or other family members
  • To transport children and young people to attend family time
  • To provide parenting support and guidance during family time
  • To support the completion of accurate documentation, reports, and records in relation to children, young people, and families
