Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Science Teacher to deliver engaging Science lessons across KS3-KS4, utilizing creative methods to foster student understanding. The successful candidate will recognize students requiring additional support and adapt lesson plans accordingly, ensuring each student has access to necessary resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Teaching Science: Deliver high-quality Science lessons, incorporating recent scientific research and breakthroughs to inspire students to think critically.
  2. Classroom Management: Plan and execute classroom activities, maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  3. Assessment and Feedback: Develop and implement effective assessment strategies, providing constructive feedback to students.
  4. Professional Development: Stay up-to-date on best practices in science education, participating in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.

Requirements:

  1. Qualifications: Possess a Bachelor's degree in science education or a related field (Master's degree is preferred), along with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  2. Experience: Previous experience working with children is highly desirable, with a strong track record of delivering excellent teaching and learning outcomes.
  3. Location: Willingness to relocate or commute to Tamworth is essential.
  4. Salary: £35,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
