Job Title: Warehouse Operations Manager

Uniphar Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe distribution of products to and from our Durbin UK facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods
  • Supervise and control order picking, goods in, and goods out operations to ensure accuracy and minimize stock damage
  • Organize and facilitate regular stock takes and ensure stock accuracy by maintaining the physical stock in line with the warehouse management system
  • Monitor and maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment, mitigating any health and safety risks
  • Take responsibility and ownership in problem resolution and actively support operational change while minimizing disruption to production and service

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a supervisor or team leader in an operational service delivery role, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry or supply chain background
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team of people to succeed by utilizing appropriate interpersonal styles
  • Good understanding of customer deliverables and the impact of failure or cost of poor quality
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to establish logical and practical solutions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous experience with ERP, WMS, and TMS systems
  • Understanding of Goods Distribution Practices (GDP) and Goods Warehouse Practices (GWP)
