About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join our team at Uniphar Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our warehouse activities, ensuring the efficient and safe distribution of products to and from our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods
  • Supervise and control order picking, goods in, and goods out operations to ensure accuracy and minimize stock damage
  • Organize and facilitate regular stock takes and maintain stock accuracy by ensuring physical stock is in line with the warehouse management system
  • Identify and eliminate errors, implementing robust countermeasures and corrective actions to prevent repeat issues
  • Monitor and maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment, mitigating health and safety risks
  • Take ownership of problem resolution and ensure that all workflow procedures and processes are followed by direct reports
  • Coaching, training, and guiding direct reports to deliver high levels of quality service to customers
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a supervisor or team leader in an operational service delivery role, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry or supply chain background
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team, setting high standards and committing to clear objectives
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to establish logical and practical solutions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous experience with ERP, WMS, and TMS systems
  • Understanding of Goods Distribution Practices (GDP) and Goods Warehouse Practices (GWP)
