Join Our Team as an Academy HR Director

Rutherford Briant is a dynamic and collaborative business that is experiencing sustained growth. We are seeking an experienced Academy HR Director to lead our HR function and play a key part in our continued success.

About the Role

This is a newly created role that reports into the Group Operations Director Controller within a wider team of 30. As Academy HR Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the full HR lifecycle, creating and implementing policies and procedures, and collaborating with multiple departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HR strategies to support business growth and objectives
  • Manage the recruitment process, including onboarding and training of new starters
  • Design and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance and best practice
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to drive business outcomes and improve employee engagement
  • Provide HR advice and guidance to employees and managers
Requirements
  • Over 5 years of HR experience, ideally in a start-up or group business
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing HR strategies that drive business outcomes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with employees and senior leaders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
