Join Our Team as an Academy HR Director

Rutherford Briant is a unique, collaborative business experiencing sustained growth. We've won numerous awards in our sector and are recognized for our investment in people.

We're seeking an experienced HR professional to head up our HR function 2/3 days a week. This newly created role reports to the Group Operations Director Controller within a team of 30. You'll be responsible for the entire HR lifecycle, including policy creation, implementation, and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the full HR lifecycle, from recruitment to employee offboarding
  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures to ensure compliance and best practices
  • Play a key role in the onboarding process, including recruitment and integration of new starters
  • Implement a structured approach to HR across the business and future HR department
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Collaborate with multiple departments to drive business objectives

Requirements:

  • More than 5 years of HR experience, preferably in a start-up or group business
  • Ideal experience in creating policies and procedures
  • Experience in a group business is highly desirable
  • Competitive salary with a 4% pension match and life assurance 4x salary
