Job Title: Customer Technical Manager

Job Summary:

Alexander Steele Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Customer Technical Manager to join a leading chilled food manufacturer in Hertfordshire. As a key member of the technical team, you will provide exceptional technical service to key retailer accounts, ensuring exceptional standards of integrity, food safety, and legality for both the company and customer.

Responsibilities:

* Provide technical support to key retailer accounts, ensuring compliance with customer specifications and policies
* Manage customer specifications, including creation and maintenance of technical policies
* Collaborate with product developers, suppliers, and procurement to formulate and deliver NPD and innovation projects
* Facilitate and provide technical support with the launch of products
* Manage projects and improve processes to ensure efficient and effective technical service delivery

Requirements:

* At least 3 years of experience working in a Customer Technical role, with experience working with major UK retailers (Tesco, M&S, JS etc.)
* Degree in Food Science or equivalent
* Significant experience of food safety and quality management systems, including HACCP, and complaint handling
