ERP PMO Project Support Specialist

Focus Cloud is seeking an experienced ERP PMO Project Support Specialist to join our client's ERP implementation programme. As a key member of the project team, you will provide essential support to ensure the smooth execution of project activities and assist in managing stakeholder relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the day-to-day coordination of the ERP programme, ensuring project activities are executed on time and within scope.
  • Support the Programme Manager in maintaining project plans, schedules, risk registers, and issue logs, ensuring accurate and timely updates.
  • Provide administrative support to project teams, including organizing meetings, preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action points.
  • Work closely with project stakeholders, including business leaders, SMEs, and technical teams, ensuring smooth communication and addressing concerns.
  • Influence and engage stakeholders who may be adverse to change, providing support in addressing their concerns and helping them understand the benefits of the ERP implementation.
  • Assist in preparing presentations, communications, and reports to keep stakeholders informed of project progress and key developments.
  • Ensure that project governance standards are followed by supporting the implementation and adherence to project management processes and controls.
  • Prepare regular project status reports, gathering input from various teams to ensure that project leadership has visibility into progress, risks, and issues.
  • Assist with tracking project deliverables and milestones, ensuring that the team remains aligned with overall programme timelines.
  • Assist in the identification, documentation, and monitoring of project risks and issues, working with the project team to develop mitigation strategies.
  • Follow up with project team members and stakeholders to ensure that risk mitigation actions are being implemented in a timely manner.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of communication plans to ensure stakeholders are regularly updated on project progress, changes, and upcoming activities.
  • Act as a point of contact for project-related queries, ensuring that stakeholders have access to the information they need.
  • Support the facilitation of workshops, stakeholder engagement sessions, and training events as part of the overall communication and engagement strategy.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a PMO Analyst or a related role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
  • Proven experience in project support roles within large-scale ERP or technology transformation programmes.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders at different levels.
  • Strong attention to detail, with experience maintaining project documentation and supporting governance processes.
  • Familiarity with change management principles and experience supporting the adoption of new systems and processes.
  • Stakeholder management and relationship building.
  • Able to contextualise information from workstream updates for impact across projects/programmes.

Salary: up to £375 GBP per day (DOE, Outside IR35)

Location: Southwest England, UK | Hybrid - 2 days per week on site
