Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Stirling Warrington in Telford. This role offers an attractive salary of up to £40,000 (dependent on experience) and benefits such as on-site canteen, life assurance, and on-site parking.

The ideal candidate will have experience in maintaining equipment within a utilities or services environment and be skilled in various building maintenance tasks. They will be responsible for optimising property conditions, ensuring the highest level of health and safety is adhered to, and providing 1st fix solutions to basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and decorating needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide maintenance solutions to infrastructure, facilities, and buildings.
  • Ensure all areas meet audit standards.
  • Identify opportunities to improve current practices and processes.
  • Diagnose and repair faults in domestic water, sanitation systems, and basic single and three-phase electrical installations.
  • Update the company's CMMS system with accurate information on remedial work and part bookings.
  • Support the hygiene team by removing, replacing, and installing guards to aid in cleaning.
  • Complete planned preventative maintenance tasks such as checking cooling systems, greasing bearings, monitoring water levels, and usage.
  • Collaborate with relevant teams on root cause analysis.
  • Maintain high health and safety standards, adhering to compulsory PPE guidelines.
