Role Summary
Recruit4Staff (Wrexham) Ltd. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Newport, Shropshire. This is a temporary contract position, initially lasting a few months, with a competitive hourly rate of £25-£27 per hour. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility, including performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and implementing preventive maintenance programs.

Responsibilities
  • Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Repair or replace faulty equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to optimize equipment performance.

Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience as a Maintenance Engineer or in a related field.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems and principles.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Working Conditions
  • Work schedule: Sunday & Monday, 6PM-6AM.
  • Temporary contract, initially a few months work.
