**Job Overview**

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at HMP Parkhurst. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing critical services to HMPPS.

About the Role

This permanent, full-time position offers a competitive salary of £33,268.27 per annum, plus on-call and overtime payments. You will be responsible for maintaining the electrical systems and infrastructure within the prison.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out routine maintenance and repairs to electrical systems and equipment
  • Conduct fault-finding and diagnostic work to identify and resolve issues
  • Work closely with other teams to ensure seamless operations

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Fully qualified electrical tradesperson to NVQ level 2 in an Electrotechnical services or equivalent
  • Good Health & Safety knowledge
