About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Physician to join our Acute Medicine team at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our Acute Medicine service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert medical care to patients in the Acute Medicine Unit (AMU) and Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) area.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans that meet the needs of patients.
  • Contribute to the development of our Acute Medicine service, including the design and implementation of new care pathways and protocols.
  • Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and service delivery.
  • Supervise and mentor junior doctors and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
Person Specification

We are looking for a Consultant Physician with:

Excellent clinical skills and experience in Acute Medicine.Strong leadership and communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.Experience of service development and quality improvement initiatives.Ability to supervise and mentor junior doctors and other healthcare professionals.What We Offer

Salary: £99,532 to £131,964 a year + financial incentive and relocation package.
