About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Acute Medicine Consultant to join our team at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our acute medicine unit, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert medical care to patients in the acute medicine unit
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals
  • Contribute to the development of our acute medicine services, including the expansion of same-day emergency care
  • Work closely with our virtual ward team to provide high-quality care to patients at home
  • Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
