We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our Medicines Management team at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering a high-quality medicines management service across our diverse range of wards.
Key Responsibilities- Provide a medicines management service across the acute trust, including one stop dispensing, assessment of patients' own drugs, medicines reconciliation, discharge facilitation, and technician checking.
- Work closely with our clinical pharmacy and ward teams to ensure seamless delivery of our medicines management service.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, carers, and healthcare professionals to promote effective medicines management.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of our medicines management policies and procedures.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance our medicines management service.
- Registered Pharmacy Technician with an accredited checking qualification and medicines management qualification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of medicines management principles and practices.
