Empowering Learning SEND Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEND teaching assistant to join our team in Southwark, London. The successful candidate will have experience supporting students with autism and various special educational needs (SEN).

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist students in the classroom, both individually and in groups, to ensure their academic success.
  • Supervise children inside and outside the classroom, providing a safe and supportive environment.
  • Provide personal care as needed, demonstrating empathy and understanding.
  • Encourage and support students in their learning, fostering a love for education.
  • Aid the teacher in lesson preparation and activity planning, contributing to a seamless learning experience.

Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Education or a related field.
  • Experience working with SEN students, preferably with autism.
