Job Title: Specialist SEN Teaching Assistant - ADHD Support

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at Remedy Education. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing targeted support to students with ADHD, aiding them in managing their behaviour and focusing on their learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement innovative strategies to support students' academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Collaborate with teachers and SEN coordinators to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Monitor and record student progress, offering feedback to inform future support strategies.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages engagement and learning.

Requirements:

  • Must have strong SEN experience.
  • Candidates must have a valid DBS certificate on the update service.
  • Previous experience working with children with ADHD, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Strong understanding of ADHD and effective behaviour management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
