Vendor Relationship Coordinator Job Description

Aegon Asset Management is looking for an experienced Vendor Relationship Coordinator to join our team in Edinburgh. As part of our Market Data Management department, you will be responsible for managing relationships with market data providers and ensuring high-quality service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage relationships with market data providers, ensuring service quality and adherence to contractual obligations.
  2. Conduct regular vendor service reviews using a clear scorecard methodology.
  3. Develop and implement strategies to drive cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  4. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand market data needs and deliver appropriate solutions.

Requirements:

  • Experience in vendor management or a related field.
  • Strong negotiation, vendor management, and budget management skills.
  • Understanding of financial instruments and international exchanges.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of approximately £50,000 - £70,000 per year, depending on experience.
  • A non-contributory pension between 9%-13%.
  • A discretionary bonus, depending on personal and company performance.
  • 27 days leave per year (plus bank holidays, pro-rated for part-time).
