About the Role

As a Sous Chef, you will be responsible for managing and inspiring the kitchen staff, ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen, and maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and motivate kitchen staff to achieve high levels of productivity and quality
  • Develop and implement effective cooking processes to ensure efficient kitchen operation
  • Collaborate with the Chef to create menus and recipes that meet customer demands and budget requirements
  • Monitor portion control and waste management to maintain profit margins
  • Ensure compliance with HACCP guidelines, fire safety policies, and working conditions

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a managerial role in a similar kitchen environment
  • HACCP certification
  • Strong knowledge of food products and market standards
  • Excellent knowledge of modern cooking techniques
  • Fluency in English
