- Design and deliver performance management plans for Defence projects, incorporating best practices and client requirements.
- Lead the implementation and embedding of performance reporting systems and procedures.
- Promote the benefits of performance reporting within project teams and ensure effective communication with stakeholders.
- Select, implement, administer, and maintain performance reporting systems and procedures.
- Lead the definition of KPIs and performance measures dictionaries.
- Manage teams of project controls professionals to deliver high-quality performance information to clients.
- Present performance recovery recommendations to stakeholders and senior management to inform decision-making.
- Train and coach clients and team members on performance management processes and practices.
- Undertake line management activities, including career development and performance management.
- A project controls-related qualification (Project Planning & Controls).
- Experience in digital reporting activities on complex projects.
- Demonstrable track record in providing project controls support for project reporting information systems.
- Practical experience in implementing Earned Value Management (EVM), progress reporting, forecasting, and performance reporting and analysis.
- Understanding of how other aspects of Project Controls (Scheduling, Cost Control, Change Control) interact with reporting.
- Experience in leading small teams.
- Basic familiarity with Project Controls software (Primavera P6, Active Risk Manager, Ecosys, etc.).
- Experience in using data analysis tools (Power BI).
Candidates must hold or be able to hold valid security clearance (SC) and meet the following requirements:
- Be a British National.
