Job Title: Domiciliary Care Service Lead

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead our team of care professionals in providing high-quality domiciliary care services. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management and strategic direction of the service, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of daily operations, ensuring policies, procedures, and guidelines are followed.
  • Maintenance of compliance with Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards, driving continuous improvement to achieve high ratings in inspections.
  • Recruitment, training, and management of carers and support staff, providing ongoing supervision, coaching, and professional development opportunities.
  • Delivery of person-centred care, meeting the needs and preferences of clients, through effective care assessments, reviews, and scheduling of care visits.
  • Overseeing budget and financial aspects of the service, ensuring cost-effective and efficient delivery of care.
  • Buidling and maintaining strong relationships with service users, families, healthcare professionals, and stakeholders.
  • Ensuring health, safety, and well-being of clients and staff through regular risk assessments, audits, and health & safety training.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Registered Manager in a domiciliary care setting.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience managing CQC inspections and achieving high ratings.
  • Sound understanding of the Care Act 2014 and other relevant legislation.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and practices.
