Job Title: Court of Protection Solicitor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Court of Protection Solicitor to join our team at Davies and Partners Solicitors. As a Court of Protection Solicitor, you will play a crucial role in providing legal advice and representation to vulnerable adults and their families.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in Court of Protection law and practice, with a minimum of 3-5 years of post-qualification experience. You will be responsible for managing Property and Affairs Deputyships, working with brain-injured and vulnerable clients, and drafting Personal Injury Trusts, Statutory Wills, and Welfare Deputyship applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Property and Affairs Deputyships for vulnerable adults
  • Work with brain-injured and vulnerable clients to ensure their needs are met
  • Draft Personal Injury Trusts, Statutory Wills, and Welfare Deputyship applications
  • Provide litigation support and representation in contentious Deputyship cases
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and their families
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Court of Protection law and practice
Requirements
  • Legally qualified as a Solicitor and registered with the SRA, or FCILEx qualified Legal Executive within Court of Protection and Clinical Negligence
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of post-qualification experience in Court of Protection law and practice
  • Strong knowledge of Court of Protection law and practice
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
