Court of Protection Solicitor Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Court of Protection Solicitor to join our team at Douglas Scott Legal Recruitment. As a Court of Protection Solicitor, you will be working with a specialist in the Court of Protection industry, providing expert advice and representation to vulnerable individuals and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Making applications to appoint replacement trustees
  • Statutory will, gifting, and compromise applications
  • Deputyship administration
  • Investigating and reinstating the incapacitated person's estate
  • Working with other teams in the firm where the client requires litigation to be undertaken on their behalf
  • Applications for recognition and enforcement
Requirements:
  • Strong Court of Protection experience, particularly within elderly care work
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
