Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, flexible hours in the Bristol or Birmingham office. Some hybrid working can be agreed to suit departmental needs.

About the Role:
Davies and Partners Solicitors is a well-established law firm seeking an experienced Solicitor to join our team. As a Court of Protection Solicitor, you will work with vulnerable adults and their families to ensure their rights are protected. You will be responsible for handling complex cases, providing expert advice, and representing clients in court.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle complex Court of Protection cases, including applications for deputyship and property and affairs litigation.
  • Provide expert advice to clients and their families on Court of Protection matters.
  • Represent clients in court, including the Court of Protection and the High Court.
  • Work closely with other departments, including care and housing, to ensure a comprehensive service to clients.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in legislation and case law, ensuring that clients receive the best possible advice.

Requirements:
  • Qualified Solicitor with experience in Court of Protection law.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and case law.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility to work in either the Bristol or Birmingham office.
