We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at the Minnis Bay Bar & Brasserie in Birchington. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for supporting our Head Chef, deputising in their absence, and assisting with the development of the kitchen team to deliver efficient, high-quality food service to our customers.

As a Sous Chef, you will have the opportunity to work in a relaxed, stylish location with truly outstanding views, great food, and an extensive drinks list. You will be part of a team that is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Head Chef in the development of menus and kitchen operations
  • Deputising for the Head Chef in their absence
  • Assisting with the recruitment and training of new kitchen staff
  • Maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation
  • Ensuring efficient kitchen operations and managing kitchen budgets
