**About the Role**

Shepherd Neame, a leading independent brewery and pub company, is seeking an experienced and skilled Sous Chef to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for supporting the Head Chef, deputizing in their absence, and contributing to the development of the kitchen team to deliver high-quality food service to our customers.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Support the Head Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen operations
  • Deputize for the Head Chef in their absence, ensuring seamless kitchen operations
  • Assist in the development of the kitchen team, providing guidance and training to ensure excellent food quality and presentation
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and presentation
  • Contribute to the development of new menu ideas and dishes, ensuring they meet the company's quality and presentation standards
