Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Fulfillment Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Hy-Vee Inc. As a Pharmacy Fulfillment Certified Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate preparation and distribution of prescription medications in our automated Central Fill Pharmacy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with pharmacists and other team members to ensure strict adherence to standard operating procedures and facility policies.
- Assist in training employees and maintaining quality assurance standards.
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of Hy-Vee's retail pharmacy operations and identify opportunities to improve service.
- Order, check-in, and stock pharmacy supplies.
- Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy and dispensing area.
- Adhere to all statutes and regulations pertaining to a pharmacy technician.
- Perform mail order call center duties, including data entry to prepare prescription orders.
- Perform other related job duties and special projects as required.
Requirements:
- Visual requirements include: ability to see detail at near and far range with or without correction, field of vision, and color vision.
- Must be able to perform the following physical activities: stooping, kneeling, crouching, standing, reaching, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.
- Must have the ability to do logical or scientific thinking to solve problems; several abstract and concrete variables.
Working Conditions:
This position frequently involves a fast work pace in a production setting.
Equipment Used to Perform Job:
High volume solutions robotics, operating software, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Confidentiality:
Maintains the confidentiality of the customer's private medical information according to the HIPAA act.
