Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing practical and emotional support to adults with various mental health conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support clients to access and engage in their local community
  • Accompany clients to appointments, on walks, activity programs, and other activities
  • Administer medication and support medication management
  • Assist with budgeting and financial planning
  • Enhance living skills, such as cleaning, laundry, and setting goals
  • Provide an evening meal from a set menu
  • Care planning and risk assessment

Requirements

  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Understanding of mental health and learning disabilities
  • Experience working in a social care setting (desirable)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
