Behaviour Support Assistant in an Educational Setting

About the Role:

We are seeking a Behaviour Support Assistant to join our team at Remedy Education. This is a dynamic role that involves working directly with young people in an educational setting, supporting their learning and behaviour.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Work directly with students who require additional support, providing individualised attention and guidance.
  2. Assist teachers in developing and implementing effective teaching strategies and resources.
  3. Contribute to creating a purposeful and supportive learning environment.
  4. Support students' social, health, physical, first aid, and welfare needs.
Requirements:
  1. Relevant qualifications, such as a degree in Psychology or a related field.
  2. Basic knowledge of SEND and learning barriers.
  3. Some experience working with young people with challenging behaviours.
  4. Awareness of Health and Safety issues in the workplace.
Estimated Salary:

£25,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience.
