About the Role

Central & North West London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and innovative professional to contribute to the delivery of high-quality, specialist applied psychology services.

The successful candidate will have a doctoral level training in clinical, counselling or forensic psychology and experience in providing specialist psychological assessments and treatments to clients across various care settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct specialist psychological assessments and develop treatment plans for clients presenting with complex mental health needs.
  • Provide evidence-based psychological interventions, including cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT) and other forms of psychotherapy.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver effective care and support to clients and their families.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of best practices in forensic psychology and apply this knowledge to inform clinical decision-making.
Requirements
  • Doctoral level training in clinical, counselling or forensic psychology.
  • Experience in providing specialist psychological assessments and treatments in forensic settings.
  • Strong understanding of evidence-based practices and models of assessment, management, and treatment in forensic psychology.
  • Excellent communication and consultation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.

Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum.
