Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Forensic Psychologist to join our team at Chadwick Lodge and Eaglestone View, a medium and low secure service in Buckinghamshire. As a qualified HCPC Registered Practitioner Psychologist, you will be responsible for holding a caseload of clinical work, including individual and group psychological assessments and interventions.
You will also offer specialist clinical advice, develop and implement programmes of care, and contribute to multidisciplinary meetings and risk assessments. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to supervise junior members of the department and engage in research and project work.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- BPS recognised psychology degrees
- HCPC registration
- Chartered Psychologist status and appropriate post-graduate qualifications
- Approved supervisor within the guidelines of the BPS and relevant division
- Understanding of evidence-based psychological practice
- Experience working with clients with cognitive deficits
- Previous experience of conducting research and project work
