About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Mentorship Specialist to join our team at Shropshire Community Health NHS Trust. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual to make a real difference in the lives of newly qualified nurses, midwives, and other clinical professionals.

In this role, you will provide mentorship and coaching support to help these individuals develop their skills and confidence in their roles. You will also be responsible for evaluating and improving the effectiveness of our mentorship programs.

This is a fantastic chance to share your expertise and experience with others while making a positive impact on the local community. We are looking for someone who is passionate about supporting the growth and development of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide mentorship and coaching support to newly qualified healthcare professionals.
  • Evaluate and improve the effectiveness of our mentorship programs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency of support across the trust.

Requirements:

  • Registered Health Professional qualification (e.g., nurse, midwife, AHP)
  • Postgraduate diploma or equivalent in education or a related field
  • Mentorship qualification or equivalent
  • Experience working in a healthcare setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
