Job Title: Administrator - Contract

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Administrator to join our team on a fixed-term contract. As an Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Purchasing & Material Team Leader in the administration of material purchase or sub-contract purchase orders, confirming proof of delivery, and reconciling invoices for payment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with suppliers to ensure invoices are processed and cleared for payment within relevant time scales.
  • Collaborate with credit control departments of suppliers to resolve queries.
  • Administer purchase orders raised, ensuring correct coding and appropriate approval authorisations are in place.
  • Administer the receipt of proof of purchase.
  • Receive and process invoices from suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring correct coding structures and authorisations are in place.
  • Handle incoming purchasing and support services phone calls.
  • Raise purchase orders for suppliers and subcontractors.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient use of computer systems and MS Office packages, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Previous experience with invoicing.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management.
  • Focused and dedicated.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and multitask to assist various teams.
