Job Title: Administrator - Contract
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Administrator to join our team on a fixed-term contract. As an Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Purchasing & Material Team Leader in the administration of material purchase or sub-contract purchase orders, confirming proof of delivery, and reconciling invoices for payment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with suppliers to ensure invoices are processed and cleared for payment within relevant time scales.
- Collaborate with credit control departments of suppliers to resolve queries.
- Administer purchase orders raised, ensuring correct coding and appropriate approval authorisations are in place.
- Administer the receipt of proof of purchase.
- Receive and process invoices from suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring correct coding structures and authorisations are in place.
- Handle incoming purchasing and support services phone calls.
- Raise purchase orders for suppliers and subcontractors.
Requirements:
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient use of computer systems and MS Office packages, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Previous experience with invoicing.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Self-motivated with excellent time management.
- Focused and dedicated.
- Ability to work as part of a team and multitask to assist various teams.
