Engineering Mould Shop Manager

South West Recruitment is seeking an experienced Mould Shop Manager to lead the daily operations of the mould shop within our manufacturing facility. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the management of the mould shop, ensuring efficient and effective production processes.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and supervise a team of mould shop personnel, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality production outcomes.
- Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and budgets to meet business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality, and maintenance, to ensure seamless production processes.
- Monitor and control production costs, inventory levels, and equipment maintenance to optimize efficiency and productivity.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Proven experience in a mould shop management or production leadership role.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, including mould design, tooling, and production planning.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on meeting production deadlines and quality standards.
