Engineering Mould Shop Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Mould Shop Manager to oversee the daily operations of the mould shop within our manufacturing facility. This role involves managing a team, ensuring efficient production processes, and maintaining high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise a team of mould shop employees to achieve production targets and maintain a safe working environment.
- Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and procedures to optimize efficiency and productivity.
- Monitor and control production costs, inventory levels, and quality standards to ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality, and maintenance, to resolve production-related issues and improve overall performance.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a mould shop management or supervisory role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve production-related issues.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety protocols.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on meeting production targets and deadlines.
