About the Job:
We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team in Manchester. As a Sales Territory Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts throughout the territories of Manchester, Liverpool and surrounding areas.
You will have a strong track record in sales, with experience in the greeting cards industry or FMCG company. You will be able to build strong relationships with customers, understand their needs and preferences, and exceed their expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of accounts throughout the territories of Manchester, Liverpool and surrounding areas
- Bid on new business opportunities and grow successful relationships with existing customers
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve targets and maximize sales
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication
- Travel regularly to meet with customers and prospects
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the greeting cards industry or FMCG company
- Strong relationships-building skills and ability to understand customer needs and preferences
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full driving license and willingness to travel regularly
