GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate P.E and Sport Co-Ordinator to join a dynamic SEN school in Colchester. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging physical education and sports activities, promoting a love for fitness and teamwork among students with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement PE and sports programs that cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate PE and sports into the curriculum.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with local community groups to promote participation in PE and sports.
  • Manage and maintain PE equipment and resources, ensuring they are safe and accessible for students.
  • Provide additional support to students and staff, including assistance with school trips and events.

Requirements:

  • Experience in planning and delivering PE and sports activities, preferably in an SEN setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with staff and students.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
  • A passion for inclusive education and promoting student well-being, with a commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
